got my snake out tonight,and he hissed at me and took 2 strikes at me.
noticed his eyes look a little cloudy.
he has been shedding once a month since i got him.
can they get grumpy before shedding their skin.

try leaving your hand in for a few mins so it can smell its you b4 picking up, that works...

Agree with the others. when your partialy blind, your hand looks even more scarier then normal. a big black shadow.. .scary!!

he is a year old this month and he has never been aggressive towards me yet,rattled his tail but thats all.

As inkiepixie said when their eyes are cloudy their eyesight is pretty bad so it will strike out to protect itself. Always a good thing to leave them when their eyes a blue.

when their eyes cloud over they are pretty much blind and obviously sense movement so will try to defend itself

Yes, they usually do. When their eyes are cloudy they're pretty much blind, so for all snakie knows you're a predator trying to eat him! Probably best to leave him be util he sheds.
