Hi there...

Sneaky shed during the night, his eyes are back to normal and his skin is all nice and shiny again. There's just one thing... I can't find his shed anywhere in the tank. And trust me, I've looked through every single bit of substrate. Can anybody tell me what he's done with it?

Oh and how long should I wait before trying to feed him again?

Cheers!

Sneaky shed during the night. :) Nice clean shed, as usual. Next step: eating. Come on Sneaky, you can do it!!!!!

when a snake is shedding, their skin secretes a milky liquid underneath the old skin so that it seperates and is easier to peel off. This liquid eventually gets reabsorbed intothe skin, making the skin seem clear and shiney, hense the easy confusion

Will probs be a couple more says till he sheds. The whole processs can last between a week/2 weeks depending on the snake really. Hope this helps!

Oh, and it never hurtsto try your snake for a feed during shed. My snakie never refused a feed during sheds. I just think its proves that some snakes can never be deterred from their stomachs!

As The Con says, sounds like he hasn`t shed yet. Once he has shed you can feed him straight away but i always wait until the next feeding day.

Oooooh ok, I didn't know that. I was starting to wonder if he had ate it. Lol! I'll wait a few more days then. Many thanks for the info!

It sounds like he hasn't shed quite yet. I thought the same the first time mine went into shed with me. What happens is the snake goes into 'blue' for a few days but then this will clear and then a few days after this he will shed. The whole process usually takes (for mine anyway) about a week before they actually shed. Give it a few more days :)
