Hi,
I will be going to buy a new vivarium this weekend as my corn is getting a little too big for the small viv he’s in, I’ve had him since he was a hatchling he must be around 13 months old now, anyways I was just wondering what size viv you would recommend?

I also think I have caught the snake bug as I've been thinking about getting another onefor some time now as i've really enjoyed caring for the little fella I have now, I was thinking maybe an anery or snow becasue I really like the colours and markings on them.

BTW..Anyone know the going rate for these as my local reptile shop has hatching anery and wants £75 for her, is that too much?

I agree, £75 for a hatchling is way too much!

I got my two anerys from a pet shop, not as hatchlings but juves for about £60 for both! I paid £30 for my caro hatchling and £60 for my snow (but that was a few years ago), the most I've paid is £100 for my ghost motley (which was sold as an anery stripe!) lol. So they are def more expensive from pet shops, but I still think £75 for an anery is OTT

£75 is a rep shop price, it's expensive but then most rep shops are becuase it cost a bomb to run them. If your want a bargin your better off going to a private breader or a rep show.

A few people on here are selling hatchlings at the moment. (mine are up for £15 but it depends where you are based, i'm in Bristol) Going rate for an anery is about £30 privatly around here but rep shops have to make a profit, i'm only trying to cover my costs as it's just a hobbie for me.

An anery hatchling for £75?! Thats reaaally expensive :s I got my snow stripe for £60!

As for vivs, why don't you buy a 3ft one and partition it down the middle? Then you only have to buy one instead of another later :)
