Posted - 10/07/2009 : 09:30:22 I have a 3-4 ft corn aged mm about 3-4yrs.... currently in the process of sorting his viv out and giving him something interesting to do.. now prev owner said he feeds on 2-3 large mice every 1-2 weeks.. since having him he has eaten one med mouse and not wanted anymore(relived himself on the towel on my bed the other night so i know he is empty)..... so my question is.. is it worth me continuing with the 2-3large mice or just go up a size or move him onto rats.. really don`t want to do the route of weighing everything in sight as that takes the enjoyment out of it all... |

Posted - 11/07/2009 : 22:51:31 pmsl.. as i pretty much thought cheeky chap didnt fancy a feed.. even defrosted large mouse for him.. so im taking that as a sign to put him on fortnightly feeds. Have left mouse in his viv.. but am defo expecting it to still be there in the morning. And manage to finally get him off the orchid bark(high humidity sub)changed viv around somewhat but yus he defo needs more in there.. oh well now a waiting game..lol :O) |

Posted - 11/07/2009 : 14:55:34 Wow - gorgeous snake! I have one about that size and she has 1-2 juve rats every 7 days depending on how hungry she is, they're just a bit bigger than a large mouse if that helps any |

Posted - 10/07/2009 : 16:09:10 2-3 large mice every 1-2 weeks? Seems like a lot of food for a 3-4ft corn, got any pics of him? |

Posted - 10/07/2009 : 09:48:32 yeah sb have only bought him two large rats as i was made aware of fat content....was gonna feed these two(not in one go) only as odd change in diet.. |

Posted - 10/07/2009 : 09:44:31 rats can be quite fatty so the nutritional content is lower I think. |
