A bit of a weird one here
but i was wondering if there were any rules as to weather taking a corn snake out in public is a bad idea? Scarlet recently had to come to the store with me as it was to see the specialist, however afterwards she was quite content to stay struck around my neck whilst i helped my parents to shop ? i got mainly positive reactions and no one seemed to mind too much ? ( it wasn't long maybe 30-40 mins ?)
i was just wondering if there was any rules as to taking you corn on short trips out
( Personally i won't do it more than necessary due to un-needed stress )

If you want a pet to take out places then you need to get a dog.

I would add, from my own point of view, most reps want small quiet places with the minimum of disturbance or interference...so I wouldn't take my lizard or corns out (however, the corns are babies and I can't even imagine trying to keep them in control while dealing with the public!).

I just feel that it would be additional stress for our benefit rather than the reptiles...

Hi,

There have been quite a lot of reads without any answers...so I had a look online and found the following discussion which seems to be fairly reasonable...for the dark side!

Hope it helps/stimulates some answers/opinions...
