i found LEDs on eBay and i was wondering if anyone else has something similar and what they think of them?

There are old posts about leds, sorry, i have a bad headache tonight or i'd find them for you! they look really great when put in, i keep meaning to do it myself, just never get around to it.

Thank you, will definitely be purchasing some. The controller has buttons where you can adjust the brightness.

LEDs are a great idea, they are a really cheap and safe way of lighting vivs, as long as you have a heat mat or a guarded light alongside them they are awesome. Also, with the one you are looking at you could have it on 24/7 and play around with different colours to get a more natural lighting colour (green white and blue mixed looks good) - obviously just remember to change the colour from white during the day to blue/red etc overnight so you dont disturb them. I dont personally have them in with my corns but I have a blue strip in as a night light with my geckos. The only thing is making sure they arent too bright. Good idea though :)
