Posted - 18/11/2014 : 17:27:11 LEDs are a great idea, they are a really cheap and safe way of lighting vivs, as long as you have a heat mat or a guarded light alongside them they are awesome. Also, with the one you are looking at you could have it on 24/7 and play around with different colours to get a more natural lighting colour (green white and blue mixed looks good) - obviously just remember to change the colour from white during the day to blue/red etc overnight so you dont disturb them. I dont personally have them in with my corns but I have a blue strip in as a night light with my geckos. The only thing is making sure they arent too bright. Good idea though :) |
