What should the hot side hottest area temp be? Sometimes the snake will poop like 5 days after feeding is that right?

Hi Phil, the ideal temperature for the heat mat is 28 degrees, with the absolute maximum being 30; any hotter and the snake can suffer burns. They require the temperature to aid their digestion too. I hope this helps
