Posted - 31/08/2014 : 20:02:35 My CB12 Kitty escaped from her viv when I was on holiday. I think through the tiniest of gaps for her(the half-moon cut-out where the wires for the therm pass through - such a small gap)& she hadn't done it when she was much, much smaller. Have been putting mice out in a bottle, leaving water out BUT it was July when the days were hot all of the doors were kept open, I'm afraid she may have gone outside. So sad. She was lovely, rosy cheeks & yellow patches developing down her sides. I leave her viv open in the hope she may just come home. |

Posted - 01/09/2014 : 14:31:02 Yes thanks Kellog - I've done the search & have been leaving a mouse in a bottle trap once a week in different places. She was in my sitting room - lots of places to hide!! My big fear, though, is that she has gone out through the open front door in the hot weather. |

Posted - 01/09/2014 : 09:52:03 I'm so sorry about Kitty getting out . They really are escape artists. Have you checked out the thread on finding a lost snake - http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=12170
I know it's no really comfort but they can go for a long time without food and have been known to turn up months later. I'm praying it won't be that long for you but don't give up hope.

Posted - 31/08/2014 : 21:22:59 Oh no, hope she does come back. Don't loose hope, though, there were some people on here, whose snakes turned up months after going missing. At least with it being summer, she won't be cold. |
