my corn hasn't eaten for about six weeks.he shed about four weeks ago but now I think he is going to shed again is this normal? |

That could very well be the explanation then, he's 'replacing' the damaged scales  .

don't think he has lost any weight,but he has rubbed some skin on the back of his neck. |

They shed when they need to Jason. It may be that he has damaged some scales as he is being more active than usual so this is a 'healing shed'. Has he lost much weight over this period?
