Posted - 27/12/2013 : 11:28:28 Hey. Sorry I know people probably ask this all the time. I've looked at your food guide for what to feed Sid. But everytime I go to the pet shop and ask for when he's due next they look at me gone out because they have totally different name. Like the last time I moved him up a size he should have been on hoppers I think. The pet shop gave me small mouse.?
I'm starting to wonder if he needs to go up a size again as recently he's been very active after he's been fed. Or whether I should feed him 2 small mouse? |

Posted - 29/12/2013 : 09:04:32 Think that's what the shops sell here an then you can go up on to there frozen rat section. ATM he's on small mouse I'm thinkin of trying him with a medium? But was wondering could 2 small mouse be enough to use up what I have left or would that be too much? The small mouse are 10-15g I think and Sid weighs 132g |

Posted - 28/12/2013 : 13:38:57 unfortunately there is no 'universal' way of sizing mice so you'd have to ask your shop to let you see the size of each mouse they sell if you're unsure of what you need. I have found most shops sell: pinky, fuzzy, small, medium, large and on the odd occasion extra large (or ex-breeder) |

Posted - 27/12/2013 : 13:24:10 There isn't that much size difference between a small mouse and a medium so me personally I would feed a medium over two smalls. Does the small mouse leave a visable bumb after feeding? If not then it's time to move up a size. Not all shops sell hoppers and some shops get confused thinking you are taking about locust over mice!
