Posted - 13/11/2013 : 19:07:41 mat stats are cheap often 10-20 quid cheaper than a pulse. they do the job just fine of set up right, yes you will get a few degrees variation in the temp due to how they work though.
pulse stats are more expensive but will hold ya warm end temp to within .5 of a degree
depends how much you want to spend in reality |

It's nice to see you're putting so much thought and preparation into it, before you get a snake. Hope it doesn't sound patronizing, it's just there are so many people who just get a snake, and don't do any research at all... and don't care, either. |

Posted - 13/11/2013 : 16:30:18 Not sure if my last post made sense hehe in a nut shell I'll be getting pulse as mats don't have enough watts for use with a dimmer ( hope your with me) :-P |

Posted - 13/11/2013 : 16:25:34 Ok a bit more research by me would of saved this post dimmers need a minimum amount of watts so heatmat will be no good thanks anyway x :-) |

Posted - 13/11/2013 : 16:20:48 Oh right yeah think you can use dimmers for all well according to what I read you can but yes I will be using a Matt |

Posted - 13/11/2013 : 15:54:09 I'd go with a pulse, if you're using a heatmat. My pulse ones have been very good. |

Posted - 13/11/2013 : 15:53:10 I'm assuming you are using a heat mat rather than a light for heat so in that case pulse - don't think you can use dimmers on a mat but am not certain on that point - but they are intended for incandescent bulbs. |
