Posted - 10/11/2013 : 18:38:12 The new vivexotic are very nice to construct. They have two small notches at the top of the back to put wires through. There are no vents in the back or sides as they are in the mounting for the glass. Not sure about stacking them although I do plan to do this in the future |

Posted - 10/11/2013 : 17:41:46 I have both the vivexotic (the old LX36 models) and the monkfield 36" x18" vivs. As the O/h build them I'll have to give you some of his thoughs: both are easy to put together and of similar quality. The monkfield vivs are a bit heaver and the glass can be harder to take out. The vivexotic plastic on the vents is not as good as the monkfield ones. I have stacked my vivs and did have 3 vivs in one stack but have since changed that, but that was due to upgrading vivs and the stack being too high for my liking. both are good vivs in their own right. I can only comment on the models I have though as I have not got any of the new vivexotic range |
