Posted - 27/10/2013 : 11:41:19 Hi I am finding it a little difficult to get hold of good quality frozen foods in my area. Hermes has yet to have anything as we only got him yesterday but has been taking 1 pinkie every 7 days, I have not weighed him but he is longer than the 9L Rub that he is in. He was hatched in June this year. If I was going to order from A&N it seems more sensible to buy a larger supply of increasing sizes, otherwise the postage is silly.
What quantities in which sizes would seem sensible? I am unsure of usual growth rates to allow me to work it out. I was thinking of Pinkies (1.5g) 5 keeping him to what he knows for a while. Large pinkies (3.5g) 10 or would I need more Fluffs (5.3g) not sure how many.
Hope this makes sense. There is a picture of him in the introductions. Thank you.

I fed Rosie every 5 days on pinkies and fluffs. I brought her home in September last year and fed her on pinkies and then double pinkies until January. I then fed on fluffs until the end of april, with a few feeds of a fluff and a pinkie and then 2 fluffs.
However if I have learnt anything from this forum it is that every snake is different. |
