Hi, I know this might sound like a strange question...but Inca's growing out of her faunarium and the only tank I have right now is a 45x45x45 glass exo-terra terrarium which my hamster used to live in. Do you think it would be OK to use for Inca if I really cleaned it out and gave it to Inca?

I can't afford to get a new Vivarium at the moment, but will do as soon as I can do.

Hope you can help x

P.S - Inca's doing really well and is growing well. Is feeding brilliantly, and constricts every time. She's now on fluffs as well. Will try and get a few photos up of her soon as I can find the wire to my camera.

there are a few on here that use small fish tank for hatchies on yearlings. people have been known the use the larger exoterra tank as permanent housing for adults too

Looks good; rather different from what people usually seem to keep corns in but looks like snakey's happy :)

Yeah, that makes sense :)

thanks :) She seems to like it
I've just got some ribbon type..stuff and put it through where the lid clips on and then taped it to the outside..if that makes sense.

It's her very own tree house :P
Put another hanging basket thing up in there yesterday too and found her snuggled up in that this morning...thought corns preferred being on the ground?! Strange wee girlie..

No reason why not, as long as it's escape proof. You could cover up 3 sides of the glass ( if you want it really nice, you could stick one of the "stick on background posters " used for fish tanks on the outside of the glass ) - that would make your snakey feel much safer.

Oh didn't think of doing that... good shout!

This is how Peris is set up atm OP

I've just had permission from my parents that I can get a new vivarium next week when I get paid from work...so yay! I know the one I want to get Inca and that's the small version of the Viv Exotics Compact version on Swell Reptiles. It's perfect size for Inca and it also means I don't have to keep her in the glass tank now, which is a real reminder of my hamster Pepper, who died a couple of days ago and I don't want anything to remind me of Pepper now, so glad I can get the new Vivarium now.

I won't be moving Inca into her new Vivarium until it's fully set up and she's got through a couple of days after a feed.

Many thanks for your replies though, they have helped xx

Oooh, I love the hanging coconut, and so does the snakey, by the looks of it :-).

It doesn't have to be a fish tank poster, you could even cut out a picture of a nice landscape from a magazine, for example, and stick it to the outside :-)

Yeah should be fine.

I've got Peri in a slightly taller one atm and she's fine in there for now :) Though I managed to pick her up a 4x2x1.5ft for £25...but she's not quite ready for it yet :P
