Posted - 29/09/2013 : 17:23:17 When getting frozen mice at my local P@H I noticed toys made out of grass that I thought snakes might like as hides. Any comments on suitability?

I did study them and neither had metal or glue in them. |

Posted - 05/10/2013 : 18:00:38 I wouldn't use them. Looking at the way they are woven together, if there was a weak spot a snake could wiggle its head through it could very well get caught and stuck. |

i often wonder about this, i dont buy things that i think she might scratch herself on. but then i think, in the wild, everything is scratchy, maybe i dont give her hardiness enough credit?

Posted - 30/09/2013 : 09:49:38 They are designed for mice etc who don't have scales over their eyes, so that being said they should be fine for snakes. |

Posted - 29/09/2013 : 21:12:14 They look pretty cool. I appreciate the thoughts of them being sharp etc but out in the wild there are plenty of sharp things. I can't see sea grass being overly sharp to be fair. |
