Hey,

I have been away sooooo long i'm sorry...

anyhoo, got Laika out today to give her a stretch and she went straight into my slipper (with my foot still in it). I felt this odd feeling on my toe and thought, is she biting me? so i gently pulled my foot out, and she was shedding, in my slipper, rubbing herself between my toes! I had no idea she was going into shed, she shed a couple of weeks ago, and she wasn't looking dull and didn't have cloudy eyes, so it totally took me by surprise, especially as i hear most snakes shed in private, i'v certainly never seen her do it before.

I didn't know what to do for the best, i couldn't put her back and she looked annoyed at being disturbed so i picked her up and put her back in her tank and turned the heat up, did i do the right thing?
what should i do if it ever happens again? (although i assume it wont)

Heat shouldnt need to be changed, her shed id assume to be fine if she had enough humidity to soften her layers of skin.

Putting her back in was probably the best thing to do but there was no need to turn the heat up as your thermostat will be controlling the temperature in your viv and it should not need to be changed.
