Hello,

Had my Carolina corn for 3.5 weeks; he's feeding well and has shed once so far. Is it normal to find it hard to locate their poos whilst they are tiny as the poos are tiny also? He did go in the transport container and I have seen at least one in the faun but he's been fed at least 4 times and I cant say I've seen that many.

Bedding is aspen.

Thanks

Thanks for the reassurance. I did a full change of the bedding a few days ago and as soon as I put him in the rub he poo'd so at least I've seen that one haha

Yep, that's normal when they're little. Aspen sticks to the poop, and unless you find it straight away it dries out, all you might ever see is a couple of pieces of aspen glued together. Because of that, when I had my second baby snake, I kept him on kitchen towel at first, just to make sure he's pooping properly. Once I knew he's ok, I added aspen.

You'd be able to see, if he was bloated. Also, some corns don't poop every time they feed, some save it up :-/
