Hallo.... I'm quite new to reptiles, having only had my corn for 6 weeks.
Up until now I've been filling her water dish with tap water. I recently heared that this is wrong and that I should use bottled.

Does anyone know a definative answer as to which is correct?

Cheers

i condition my tap water with substances such as repti-safe :) But i think its a personal preference deal, some just use tap water, some use bottled, others use tap with a conditioning agent :)

Tap water, if it's good enough for me it's good enough for my crew!

I think the general rule is that, for the most part, if it's safe for humans it's safe for snakes. Most people I know with reptiles have always given tap water and have never had issues :)

I use tap water too, but am lucky enough to live in a soft water area that doesn't have fluoride added to the water. I have to be honest, I would probably used bottled if I lived in a hard water area, but that is just me. Looking forwards to seeing the pics

Hi and Welcome and I use tap water too. If you are worried about chlorine content leaving it to stand will reduce this before putting it in the bowl, but the amounts are so small that its not relay needed.
