Hello folks. My first corn a 4 year old is very lively. He hardly stays in his hide and is a very active and lively man. Not complaining at all but wonder is this common for Corns or are they all different.

What everyone has said is right Carl. This weather seems to be messing everything up and snakes are showing breeding behaviour all the time. I'm guessing he's patrolling the viv, trying to escape all the time. One suggestion, just check your temps to make sure that it isn't due to stress that he's behaving this way.

He may refuse to eat, which is normal, they are thinking more of females than of food. All you can do is keep offering him food on his normal feeding day, maybe something smaller than he's used to. They're used to going for ages without food so it isn't something to worry about.

In some ways it's a lovely time of year because they are out and about so much instead of hiding away, but it can also be frustrating when they go off their food.

Xxx

Is he definitely male? If so, probably lady snake hunting.
