So after my worries the animals were absolutely fine very well looked after and happy. Cats just had the snip yesterday though, poor things, leave them 10 days then take them to the vets for that haha! All went well though.

Just a question about shedding - Oscar has now shed 3 times this year, the last being 4 weeks ago, and is in blue AGAIN! Surely this isn't right for a nearly 4 year old corn? His temps are good, eating well, handles fine, and he looked in perfect condition on Sat when i got home.

Should i speak to a vet do you think?

Thanks

that puts my mind at rest! as i say everything else is normal, just shedding more than usual! Maybe he wants to make sure he looks good incase he comes across any ladies haha

Glad you had a good time . This shedding more often than normal has come up a few times recently. It goes along with the unusual behaviour from some corns and we are putting it down to the bizarre weather we've been having, it's messing everything up.

Xxx

I know haha, it was a choice of before or after, and i was worrying enough when i was away haha! Had a great time thanks

SBB....a few haha! The woman texted me every few days (if i didn't text her first!) and my dad popped in on a couple of his days off so got updates from him too. I think i'll be a bit more relaxed about it next time i'm away!

Yeah Corno has been shedding monthly lately as well - I think it's just the season lol! Glad to hear they were all OK - bit mean to do that to the cats on your return though lol :P Hope you had a good time?

I wouldnt have thought much of it, snakes shed at different times in the sense that they are induviduals trying on a new outfit as it were aha.

It's fine and maybe due to a small injury such as nose rubbing. My 4 year old male has shed 3 times too, every 4 weeks while he's been horny :)
