Posted - 22/05/2013 : 23:43:25 So I'm going to be moving Clementine from her viv into a RUB, and at the same time I think I'll upgrade Bats from the 18L he's in as he's grown a lot in the last few months.
I know the 33L is the one a lot of people say is the smallest you could go for an adult snake, but seeing as I don't use a rack I'm not sure I want something that shallow. Clementine is 18 months old, Bats is 2.5. The 50L and the 64L both offer the same amount of floor space, but are just taller. Does anyone use either of those sizes? For 75p more it seems silly not to go to the taller 64L, but then again Clementine has never shown any inclination to go "upwards", but Bats does like to come and inspect the cats when they sit on his RUB. Perhaps get him the taller one and her just a 33L even?
Anyone got any pictures of their snakes in the big RUBs at all?
Thank you. |

Posted - 23/05/2013 : 18:15:13 I've had a shuffle! Bats has gone into the 3' viv and seems to be loving it, and Clementine moved to a RUB (albeit just an 18L atm) and is actually out and about for a change! I'll post some pics shortly of them enjoying their new homes
Not sure what to do for Nebula though. She doesn't come out that much and I thought about moving her into one of the 18L ones (she's currently in a 9L one), however I have a feeling the holes I drilled into the 18L for ventilation would be all to easy for her to escape from. That's how my hatchling lav stripe Tempestuous escaped last year Gonna try out giving her some cover around her RUB and see if that coaxes her out a bit more. |
