All my stuff has come for my hatchy, i plan on using kitchen tissue for bedding untill the hatchy gets bigger (this way ill be able to see where his poop is) would i still lay it down as i would aspen? Thinish layer over the heat mat and thicker layer at the cool end?

I'd take it out and wait next week, but when you come to feed next week you can leave it in over night. Congrats on the new addition

What do people think about leaving the pinkie in with him like the pet store owner told me to as far as i can see he hasnt touched it, should i just take it out and try next week once the weeks hands off period is over?

Ive got him hes only a little worm time to wait a week the man at the pet store told me hes due a feed and defrosted a pinkie and told me to put it in his hide is that a good idea or should i just refreeze it?

Not a good idea to use sticky tape with snakes. It would be much better to put a hide on top of wires with the probes inside the hide.
And yes elastic bands will hold probes together very well....

Never mind my digi thermometer came with a suction cup thigy so ill just use a rubber band and band the together :)

I have my little guy on kitchen roll, and just put one sheet worth on each side, and cut it to fit I have my probes under the kitchen roll, makes it look tidier
