Posted - 24/02/2013 : 12:42:11 They have limited sense of hearing when it comes to vibrations in the air, but they register ground vibrations quite well (through their jaws, actually). |

Posted - 24/02/2013 : 09:35:41 They can certainly hear the hoover, and seem fascinated, even Bazil pokes her head out of the hide. I think they can feel base vibrations - so if you had your TV with base turned up on high, they'd feel it. |

Posted - 24/02/2013 : 07:39:29 yes they can, I believe it is low frequencies they can hear and they pick up vibrations as well. I have my vivs either side of my chimney breast with the tv mounted on the chimney and I haven't noticed the "noise" bothering them but I suppose it would be down to how close your tv is and if they are on the same piece of furniture etc if it would bother them or not. Maybe experiment if it's not to hard |
