Posted - 01/02/2013 : 13:52:45 Hey guys. Just a random question
When i feed Emmy, as soon as she has the pinkie, as in when it's still in her neck, nowhere near her belly, she gets all frantic and it wildly going around the tub. I've never seen this with any of mine before, just wondering if it means anything, or if it's just how she is?
FYI she's on 1 pinkie every 5 days, hatched 17th July 2012 (so about 6 months) and was 18g last week when i weighed her (before a feed). |

Posted - 02/02/2013 : 11:35:13 One of mine is really flighty after feeding to. I tend to leave her in the faun a good 20 mins before putting her back in the viv. (She WOULD and HAS tried to eat me before though lol) |

Posted - 02/02/2013 : 07:18:05 Glad she managed them OK :). To be honest I rarely stay on 2 pinks for more than a couple of weeks before moving up to fuzzies as I think if they can manage 2 a fuzzy probably isn't much different - but then my pet shop is lovely and will tip the bag out and deliberatley pick out small ones for me, then big ones later on! With Ember she was very small so I kept her on 6 days, but Corno I moved up to weekly. :) |

Posted - 01/02/2013 : 17:14:58 18g should be big enough to manage 2 pinks, give it a go. I feed my corns every 5 days with two pinkies and haven't had any problems but people generally say 5-7 days for 2 pinks |

Posted - 01/02/2013 : 14:54:56 Thanks smart bunny i have been thinking to move her up, she's due a feed tonight so i'll let you know how she gets on! Scary times haha! I should move to once a week rather than every 5 days with 2 pinkies, is that correct?
My other 2 are always very placid after a feed, they move around to get it down but no dashing about! She has always been a very fast feeder though, must just be how she is, wee turbo snake ha. |

Posted - 01/02/2013 : 14:18:00 Lol, cannot answer on the dashing about bit, but at 6 months and 18g I would have thought move to double pinks if there's not much bump :) |

Posted - 01/02/2013 : 13:54:25 Possibly move her up to 2 pinkies? The bump left is getting smaller as well.
I realise i've just pretty much answered my own question lol but it's always nice to get other views |
