Posted - 27/01/2013 : 20:14:58 For the first time in nearly 2 years I had her, Bazilishka has refused to eat tonight. She's normally very voracious feeder, and would eat even in blue, given the chance. But today - nothing. She's not interested whatsoever, keeps turning away from the mouse, and jumps away, if it touches her. I've put her back in her viv, still in feeding box with the mouse in. If it hasn't gone within half an hour, I'll let her out, as she's not happy. I'm quite sad, as I just weighed her, and she's just gone over 300g for the first time - 312 g in fact. She was very interested in Twiddlers viv, do you think it could be that it's breeding season starting? I hate wasting the mouse, too,it's the thought it died for nothing :-(

Posted - 27/01/2013 : 21:27:08 She ate it! :-) :-) I've just checked and it was gone. I panicked too soon, it seems. Still, it's very unlike her to faff about her food. |

Posted - 27/01/2013 : 20:37:51 Thanks, Herriotfan. The mouse looked and smelled nice and fresh, but one never knows...I'll check on her in couple of minutes, the lights are out now. |
