i got corn snakes at xmas and both have fed once a week since getting them,yesterday was there usual feed day,one ate no problem and the other just refused,i left alone with the food for an hour in the dark,he had still not ate it so i returned to his viv so he did not become to stressed out.should i be worried about this and when should attempt to feed him again? i checked all temp parameters and they are fine.

I would - he'll probably be hungry after the effort of shedding :) Did you check the tail tip and eye caps were complete on the shed? |

Are they adult snakes, and male and female? If the one refusing the feed is a male, could be he's in love... :-)

I wouldn't worry - as above, it is probably going to shed soon or something. The only thing I would check is, how do you measure your temps? It's best to use a digital thermometer (the dial ones are hopeless) which is in contact with the heatmat where the snake is actually going to sit. Assuming you are doing this then fine, if you are using a dial thermometer and it's reading 29 then it will actually be significantly hotter and will be too hot for the snake.
If the snake is heading in to blue then just don't offer again until it's shed, otherwise just try as normal next week :) Snakes can go a surprisingly long time without food before you need to worry :) |

Nothing to worry about, it's not rare for a snake to refuse a meal, just try again at a later date. |

It may be that your snake is going into shed. A lot of snakes refuse to eat while shedding.
It's nothing to worry about. Just leave it until the next feed is due and then offer another mouse.

A lot of set ups are mis sold as the correct set up. What are your temps? How long have you had them |

no they are housed seperately,i bought the set-ups and snakes from serpentus exotics in dunfermline and it was the correct set-up for them. |

When you say they are all fine. What is your set up like? Are they housed together? And as for feeding again just wait until next feeding day. They can often miss a meal here and there :) like us skipping breakfast x |
