Posted - 15/01/2013 : 22:26:49 Several people will probably want to know what happened regarding Indy (for her story read - http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=27663)
Today was the day that I actually saw the manager of the store and when he found out what had actually happened, he actually got the member of staff to come over to me, fully apologise, and then the manager proceded to give me a full credit note refund. Then he allowed me to choose a brand new snake, a new faunarium, and a new plant decoration for absolutely free...plus I have 6 free pinkies as well lol.
The hatchling I chose was a really young Anery, who is too small to be popped or probed yet, but for now I've decided it's going to be a girl lol. I was going to keep the name 'Indy', but she didn't suit that name, but then my friend (who drove me back to the store and kept me from totally going insane) came up with the name 'Inca' instead...and it's stuck and it suits her colouring.
Inca is only about 6 inches long...so as I said, very young. She has only had 2 feeds in the store before I took her home lol. I had seen a Snow corn, but as I went to ask to look at it, Inca caught my eye and was just staring at me from her container...instant bond and 'bye bye' Snow corn lol.
Inca is now settling in her brand new faunarium (Exo Terra Large Flat) and is currently residing on the heat mat under her coconut hide lol.
Will post pictures next week when she has gone through her 7 day 'settling period'.

Posted - 06/04/2013 : 18:12:57 Well done on dealing with your dramasSometimes big stores seem so faceless. We have 3 anery's;Thumper-welll black and silver,George-salmon pinky/orange/lilac motley(Both rescues)and baby Inky an ultramel anery stripe. Maybe the forum needs an Anery section?? |

Posted - 05/04/2013 : 18:55:09 Glad to hear that the store apologized and made up for it. Inca is a great name, and she does sound very tiny I'm sure she'll settle in fine. It sounded like me when I saw Phoenix for the very first time, he was tiny and all curled up and I just instantly knew i had to have him Can't wait to see some pictures! |

Lol...I wish I could, but until I move out the house, which considering house prices and the little money I get from my job, that won't be a long while yet.
Inca's doing well...started coming out of her hide more and more now. So tempting to hold her as I am right next to her when I am online, but I know I can't yet until Tuesday next week...3 more days!!!!
I'm glad everyone likes her name as well. As I said, she didn't suit the name 'Indy', so I began playing with names in my head whilst I was handling her, and then my friend suggested the name 'Inca' and it just stuck lol.
Love her to pieces already :)

Posted - 16/01/2013 : 12:36:14 Nice one , glad it ended well. Just sounds like a lack of communication between staff, and they obviously care about customer relations to have given u a freebie. Hope they have learnt a lesson for the future and may you and Inca now enjoy some time together |
