Posted - 11/01/2013 : 21:25:32 My corn is just over 2ft long and weighs 113grams. what size of prey should he be on?? The pet shop says mice fuzzys but i think he should be on bigger. It takes him seconds to eat the fuzzys and doesn't even slighty strech him. any help would be great. |

Posted - 11/01/2013 : 21:41:12 A corn snake should be fed mice no wider than 1.5 times their widest part. My corn Apollo is about that size and he is eating small mice. As long as it isn't more than 1.5xwider than your corn's widest part then I would try him with a small. Pet shops do have a tendency to underfeed snakes as it keeps them smaller and 'cuter' for sale to customers. |
