I know this probs wont happen but... I have just bought my first corn snake she is 3 years old and roughly 3feet, the previouus owner said she isnt keen on been handeled atm, my question is. if she does strike me do i need any anti-biotics, i know i had a dog bite a few years back and needed a tetanus jab, but that was because i went 2 A&E obv wont probs need a trip 2 A&E off a corn snake bite.

ouch sounds nasty, but if your snake ever does bite, you must post a pic! and bite will not even remotlely be as bad as the dog

No need for A&E, as soon as it has bitten you all you have to do is put your mouth over the bite mark and suck the venom out yourself

Sorry I did giggle :p but no. That bite must have been pretty bad to go to A&E though surprised they didn't tell you to go to the doctors.

Some bites can turn up a bit raised - maybe a slight reaction to the saliva?
I wouldnt worry about jabs or antibiotics or anything though; most of mine have had a go at me some time or another and i'm still here

I can vouch for that, having been munched the other day.

I just give any nips a wash under the tap then a dab with anti-septic lotion such as Savlon or Dettol. A Corn 'bite' does little more than break the skin.
