Hi all
Just sat down after 2 and a half hours of various snakey stuff
1. Sheldon ate even though hes blue and is now refusing to snuggle in a hide
2. Maggie went even more bonkers on her pinky than normal
3. Sonny decided to attempt to eat while mousie was still tightly constricted
4. Medusa took her first mouse no problem and while I was trying to get her out to put her in her rub got about 2cms away from biting me, nearly laid an egg!!
So that's what's been happening today here
Absolutely shattered now!

I also had to clean Maggie and Sheldon ;)
amd it took me ages to pick medusa up cos she kept going for me lol |

Crazy stuff. Glad everything is fed and sorted now though  Apollo tried to do the same as Sonny last time he fed. He bit himself before he realised he would have to let go a little bit! haha. They can be so funny sometimes.
I try not to feed all of mine on the same day because I get withdrawal symptoms from not being able to handle any of them! haha. However it does sometimes happen that way because Apollo is fed every 7-14 days and the hatchies are fed every 5-6 days. I can normally get all 5 snakes fed in just over half an hour though, they're normally really quite fast and good feeders. Apart from when I'm in a hurry... |
