Some of you may remember the topic I made about buying myself a tessera for a relatively good price some time ago. I've been really excited about it for ages, and I was supposed to pick up the little snakey when the seller came to Houten next sunday.

Sadly, the seller can't make it to Houten anymore due to personal circumstances. I'm absolutely gutted as this snake was a perfect match for my little anery, looked absolutely amazing and was being sold for a good price.

My question is - is there anyone near Lancashire who will be visiting Houten this sunday? Would you be willing to take an extra passenger on your way there?

Okay... Guess what. They told me I had 24 hours to decide. I e-mailed them back asking if it was okay if it took 1 day longer since I would have all the info then. They didn't even bother to reply to that. Sent them the info as soon as I had it, then they told me I "missed the van"... Well f me. I finally made the choice to pay for a courier, however expensive, and I still won't be getting my snakey :(

Hah, had a reply from them, turns out they will be staying in the Netherlands on their way to Hamm. Consequently, I can get my snake here for a fairly reasonable price, and the seller even agreed to pay part of the shipping as well! I'm beyond happy, if everything works out I'll get my snake next weekend! Thanks a lot for suggesting them :)

Would be difficult, doing 2 studies at university and working a full time job no the side doesn't leave me with too much spare time (nr cash) at the moment :( I'd already considered going there though, would love to see the beatles museum and such ;)

Thanks, I've sent them an e-mail but I suspect it will be way too expensive :(

Not sure anyone even read this, but in case anyone's interested - I found someone to bring the snake to Houten. Amazingly, they are even from Lancashire themselves. Sadly, they're leaving for the Netherlands tomorrow and I have no way to get the snake to them from the seller before they leave at noon. So much for getting my dream snake :(

Also, if you know someone I could contact about this, anything would be appreciated. :(
