Posted - 07/11/2012 : 11:13:22 Heya I have a very cheeky yearling who has just been moved into a new vivarium and he managed to get out the other night and hid under the sofa. I watched him the next night and caught the cheeky little bugger going through the glass, should draft excluder sort out the problem as it should bock out the gap between the pannels of glass?
And another question I am getting a new female hatchling soon ( she is a reluctant feeder and I have to wait until she has eaten 3 consecutive defrosted pinkies) and I was thinking of names but can't find a really nice name for her. Does anyone have any ideas?
I'll post a picture of her below :)

Posted - 07/11/2012 : 13:47:29 I use a strip of folded cardboard covered in duct tape. Pretty much just looks like a black strip in between the doors - cheap but effective :)
As for her name, I love her dark colours! Maybe something night-related, like Nox(night) or Umbra (shadow)? Then again, I've never really been that good at names... :p |

Posted - 07/11/2012 : 12:48:30 I use one of the plastic binder fastenings that slide onto multiple sheets of paper to block the gap between the glass on my yearling's viv. It works a treat. Like these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/sis.html?_nkw=A4-12mm-Blue-Plastic-Slide-Binders-Binding-Bars-x100-
Your new female looks lovely. How about Jet? or Sophie? |
