Hi people I was just talking to a guy in my local petshop about bedding

I have always used aspen with no troubles however this bloke insisted corn cob was much better clearly this is more expensive than aspen but I was wondering if anyone uses it or has tried

I no pet shops are good at givein useless information and I'm stiking to the aspen but is there anyone that uses it

Ps my phone is buggered and I can't put full stops question marks etc etc lol

All the best Danny

Ive used it in the past for my chinchillas and rats etc BUT stopped using it just didnt think it was a very good substrate there are far better substrates available at less than half the price of that stuff id wager they were giving it the hard sell because they were after your hard earned pennies and with the risj of ingestion eek no way id touch it

Yeah that was my argument with him as aspen wouldn't swell as much and I would of thought if it did get wet it would allso go mouldy as its corn

wouldnt use it personally, if there is any chance of ingestion it will get wet and swell.
