Posted - 31/10/2012 : 22:19:11 Hi just wondering how often adult corns normally shed per year. Mines already shed three times in few months due to damaged scales from a failed escape attempt. And does it effect them long term having more sheds than normal ? thanks

Posted - 31/10/2012 : 23:29:48 They will shed as often as they need to. Generally, young Corns will shed more often due to the rate of growth. Adult Corns will shed from twice a year upwards. As long as the snake is healthy and shed is clean with eye caps and tail tip then there is nothing to get worried about.
