Posted - 25/10/2012 : 20:11:58 I'm thinking this purely because she didn't eat tonight, and she's ate fine up till now. it's been around 6 weeks so sounds about right! also, even though she didn't eat she attempted quite a few times to strike, poor thing missed every time! possibly due to not being able to see as well when in blue. funny thing is she didn't really try grab it, more lunged roughly in its direction then backed off very quick! can't tell if she is any paler as she is quite a pale snake as it is :-)
from the above do you reckon it's shedding time too? |

Posted - 25/10/2012 : 20:37:57 hehe! I will pass on the message to her haha! yeah tonight her eyes looked....kiiinda glazed over a bit, but then she'd move her head and I'd think oh wait, no, are they?! lol so I'm thinking this is what it is. she's 12g weighed her tonight, no chance of getting a measurement though haha! thinking about it she was a tad jumpy when I had her out....I'll leave her alone for the moment :-) first shed with me exciting! so glad I decided to get snakes, so interesting no matter how many times I see sheds, feeding, never gets any less interesting! phew, ramble ramble haha |

Posted - 25/10/2012 : 20:18:22 sounds like she could be, one of mine doesn't really pale off that much untill he's acutally in blue and even then he doesn't go much paler, the giveaway with him is that he hides away (he's always out about usually)
