Posted - 23/10/2012 : 18:28:36 I wouldn't worry just yet, but I have to say I'd have thought a large fuzzy would be a little too small for a year old snake? Unless she's really small? Corno is 14 months and on mediums now.
Although thinking about it, Ember will be a year in December and she's only on fuzzies still... but she has always been a much smaller snake than Corno... |

Posted - 23/10/2012 : 16:36:13 I wouldn't worry. Apollo often goes two/three feeds without pooping. (He did this whilst still on fluffs as well as now he's on hoppers). Then does a huuuuuuuuge stinky one
I used to bath him to help move things along but he didn't really like it and he is okay doing it his way |

Posted - 23/10/2012 : 14:44:09 If she is due a shed that could be the reason my 2 often go 7-14days before pooing when in shed mode. |

Posted - 23/10/2012 : 11:21:57 I really wouldn't worry too much. Mine sometimes go every two or three feeds and sometimes after every feed. I always think it's just that some mice have more nutrients and less waste than others. If you're really concerned you could try giving him a warm bath, that sometimes helps and so does exercise. |

Posted - 23/10/2012 : 11:21:08 They still have to poop, no matter what size their prey is to get rid of stuff they can't digest.
I really don't know what else I can suggest or do to help, sorry.
Hopefully someone more experienced might come along & suggest something else.
Their poop can sometimes be hard to spot tho, especially if it's had time to dry out. It could be on a leave or under his hides?
Which substrate do u use? |

Posted - 23/10/2012 : 11:15:48 No obvious bulge around the vent, maybe it's too small a prey item for her to poop? :S |

Posted - 23/10/2012 : 11:13:29 Ok, Corny is 14mnths old & we feed him 1 fuzzie a wk (trying him on 2 this wk) & he poops about 2 or 3 times a wk.
Can u see if there is a bulge around his rear end? |

Posted - 23/10/2012 : 11:11:01 Shes almost a year old. She's on large fluffs, once a week. Temperatures and humidity is perfect so don't think it can be that |

Posted - 23/10/2012 : 11:08:28 Erm... how old is your corn & what r u feeding him?
tbh, I think it depends on how old & wot they eat coz I think when they're older & get fed bigger prey less often, they don't poop as much. |
