Good afternoon all, my Frank is 6 months old and still on pinkies, not sure his weight but about 60cm long. When would be normal to upgrade to the next size mouse and what would it be called? thanks

a minor clarification- the 1 and a half times the snake's widest girth measurement is the maximum size prey to offer- any more risks a possible regurgitation.

It is difficult to say what size prey Frank should be on because all snakes are different. A prey item fed to a snake should be approx 1.5 times the width of the snake's thickest part. Most people progress from pinkie to two pinkies to fluffs to hoppers (if you can get them, if not double fluffs), to smalls, mediums then large. Hope this helps

The next size up would be fuzzies, you should start offering the next size up when you can no longer see a bump after he has eaten a pinky
