Our 3 snakes were in boarding for 2 weeks, came home just over 3 weeks ago and I left them all to settle for a week before handling/feeding etc.
Since coming home I have hardly seen both Voldemort & Falco, they spend the whole time hiding away, even when I check on them at night they never seem to be out! Voldemort shed in the snake shop, so he's not due to shed and I'm so disappointed as he was the only one who would come out to you when you opened the viv, slithering up and settling on your shoulders.
Little Orlando on the other hand has flourished, and has gone from a fussy feeder who only fed in his faun and had to have chick scented fuzzies, to a super confident little guy who now feeds in a rub on normal fuzzies (yeah, no more chopping up chicks) and strikes from the tongs  He's out all the time too, and is the only one to be seen now.
I was planning to move Falco into the viv stack (30"x15"x15") and Orlando into Falco's 24" monkfield today, but not sure if it'll make things worse for Falco? Is there a chance they just need more time and will get their confidence back? Sorry for such a long post but Voldemort in particular has made me feel quite sad  |

I went ahead and moved them last night after they fed. Orlando is so delighted with his new space he's been out exploring this morning, and sitting on his log looking out the glass 'window'! Don't think MIL will be able to miss him  |

Yes he's still feeding fine. Mind you, it would take a lot to put Falco off his grub  |

If they hide away for a few days it'll be good as I have my MIL coming tomorrow and she doesn't know yet that she's sharing a room with them, I'll tell her the viv's are empty
LOL!!!!
I think I'd go with moving as well - like Red says, you'll have 2 settling in periods otherwise. As long as he is still feeding OK? |

Thanks Red  I'm rubbish at making decisions, especially when it comes to the snakes

Just adding my two pennies worth. If it was me I would move him now and get it over and done with. The way I see it is if you leave him another month so he settles back in then you move him you may be back to square one and have more weeks of him being unsettled. Good luck making the descision |

He's a little star, I'm so pleased with him 
I'll have to decide what's best, perhaps leaving the move another month or so might be better. I do like your 2nd option though...decisions decisions lol. |

Very glad to hear this!!
If Falcor is taking a little more time to settle back in then you really have 2 things to consider-
1. Moving vivs might add to his stress and make him hide for longer
2. Moving vivs whilst he is already stressed/hiding/shy might kill 2 birds with one stone, and the change of scenery may give him something to come out and explore.
