Posted - 10/09/2012 : 15:39:44 I've noticed quite a few people on here talking about weighing corn snakes! What should the weights be of a corn snake all through life because I have a variety of ages?. I am particularly interested because i've just found my escapee who was on the run for nine months, just to see if she's under weight or okay! Thanks Guys!<3 |

Second that my two are both basically the same age (within a month) and very different in length and weight |

To be honest in my opinion, anything over 650g is on the large size for an adult, no matter what the length. That's one big snake! I have a full grown adult who was 613g when I got him, and he needed to lose a bit of weight, and is now a very healhty looking 550g :) |

Posted - 10/09/2012 : 15:50:52 I'm no expert but i think it differs with every snake really :) i think it's more to do with the shape of them, ie round = overweight, breadloaf = good weight, triangular = underweight. Sure someone with more experience will be able to answer a bit better!
Nice to hear you found your snake. Mines just went missing so this gives me hope! |
