yeah 2 months, i picked up a cheap as chips fish bowl from the range, £2 and should last a while.
She ate so well i was amazed, i had never seen a snake eat before, she saw it and didn't strike, just ran at it with her mouth open and nommed it in under 5 minutes! Certainly not a fussy eater :) |

Posted - 31/08/2012 : 06:54:26 Agreed with red, cuddles rock! I feed my 7.5 out of viv in RUBs. , again as Red said it is easier to clean up poops, cuddle, water and return once done |

Posted - 30/08/2012 : 11:26:16 Agree with Sleeper. I bought a snap an lock lunch box from ASDA and drilled some airholes in it. Feed mine in that. Granted now she is a year older shes getting a bit big for it, but its worked a dream so far. |

Posted - 30/08/2012 : 09:41:53 I feed mine out of her viv. Mainly because i weigh her and give her a check over to check she's ok etc. Also do length checks etc too. |

Posted - 29/08/2012 : 17:30:23 If the snake will take food just after the shed then there is no harm to offer it. It really depends on the snake. Some snakes won't eat immediately after a shed, some couldn't care less. Apollo will ALWAYS eat, haha, even when blue. |

Posted - 29/08/2012 : 17:02:07 Being a first time snake owner I am doing it all by the book... I feed Blossom in a small lockable RUB ( got in Quality Dump oops I mean QD for £2.99) with NO substrate.
Just fed her now and she has progressed to 2 pinkeys... and she has had her first shed last night. So I think every thing is progressing nicely.
Tried her with 2 pinkeys Saturday morning.. only had one as she lost interest in second. Today I rubbed inside of feeding RUB with some hamster bedding before feed, never seen her so active before,,, she was "lovin it" like a kid at a well known burger place.
QUERY: Is it OK to feed just after shed or should I be waiting a day or two?

Posted - 26/08/2012 : 19:59:16 I feed mine out of the viv. I feed Titan in a small RUB and I used to feed Apollo in a RUB until he outgrew it. Now I just feed him on a chair. He never goes anywhere and is such a quick eater that it is down and he is in the viv in no time at all. |

Posted - 26/08/2012 : 19:13:33 I feed mine out of the viv, in a seperate tub. I don't want them to associate anything that moves into the viv with food. ^^ |

Posted - 26/08/2012 : 18:00:50 Kitty still gets Deli cupped... Monster I feed in his viv... sometimes when I first open his viv up he gets 'eager' but once he realizes that teh Ape smell doesn't include mouse smell he settles down.. |

Posted - 26/08/2012 : 17:56:47 mine are fed in the RUBs that they live in, by hand for most of them with a bit of teasing once they have hold of them. The fussy eaters get the food dropped in and then left to it. |
