Posted - 23/08/2012 : 22:55:19 ..is when you go away for four days over the bank holiday, you don't need to worry about them!
I've got the dog going to stay with a friend, and someone coming in to feed my cats and check their litter. But both snakes are getting fed tomorrow and then I'm leaving them with a few different pools of clean water and they should be fine! My neighbour will check on them anyway just to make sure they haven't done something ridiculous like managed to poo in all their water bowls. But other than that, it's a doddle! |

Posted - 24/08/2012 : 00:49:09 How 'regular' are they? Monster is quite predictable.. Kitty not so much..
Ultimately it's up to you..
I've extended feedings to 21 days if it was in my best interest.. (in that case it was a cage move right before I went away for 10 days)
Here were talking what 11 days and 9? Not going to faze either one IMO. |

Posted - 24/08/2012 : 00:29:34 I did think about that, but it's too long to make them wait just for my benefit. They're both due to feed tomorrow (Ophion's every 7 days, Bob every 5). If it were middle of the weekend then I'd wait I think.
Unless you think it might benefit them to wait till I'm back? I'd hate for one to poo then to slither in it and get poorly :( |

(bad enough coming back to teh cat box!) |
