Posted - 06/08/2012 : 08:08:08 So after having eaten two mice,I started handling Freddie. All was going well he seemed fairly calm no tail shaking etc. Tried to feed lastnight and he looked interested but wouldn't take it. I dunno if this is cause he being handled? Temps are all good and I don't think he's going into shed. I'm worried it's either gonna be handle or eat and that he won't eat if he's handled!
I realise it will take time for him to fully settle in but was just so chuffed when he started eating, now I'm all worried again. |

Posted - 06/08/2012 : 10:26:38 It might be best to not handle him on feeding day. I had to do this with Falco, and didn't handle on feeding day until I felt he was settled enough to be fed in a rub. I didn't properly handle Falco or Orlando for the first 6 weeks or so as they both really took their time to settle in. |
