Posted - 05/08/2012 : 14:28:25 So I'm going to be collecting my second corn snake. This time it's a hatchling and this time it's a male. He's a lavender het hypo/stripe and such a stunner! He's had 5 feeds so I'm confident he'll be okay and I am so excited to see how he grows and changes in colour!
This is a picture of the little chap I should be picking up <3

It's not an amel because it's got dark eyes. And you can see from the stripe's picture that the iris is a shade of grey/blue, not orange.

Posted - 05/08/2012 : 19:37:17 Dunno what else to say guys... :/ The pairing is was lavender stripe x hypo lavender advertised on RFUK with the hatchlings being diffused, lavender and lavender stripes. All three morphs produced are advertised in that photo, and for comparison with regards to the lighting...
..one of the lavender stripes taken close up at the same time as the normal lavender.
It's just the lighting showing them up as more orange.

Posted - 05/08/2012 : 14:42:45 Wow, I didn't realise how much Lavenders change colour as they grow up if that's what they start out like! His pattern makes him look a little like a Motley too. How pretty
Congrats! How exciting!
