Thought I'd give this it's own thread now as I don't want to hog the sticky at the top of the page, left a medium mouse in with sooty and she wasn't interested, going to leave it for a couple of more days and then try the super heating meathod

All is good with her now, she shed this morning and she has just taken another medium mouse, I'll leave her a couple of days now and then give her a large mouse, she is certainly looking thin and in need of building up but very alert and obviously hungry

Good news :)

Congratulations on the eggs! I personally would definitely set them up to hatch. I've heard a polystyrene box can make a good incubator. I've only been on this and a couple of other snake forums for a few weeks, but I've lost track of the number of threads I've read about people buying snakes, then finding eggs, and then finding the female HAD been mated with.

When would be best to offer the meal, today or wait a couple ?

Soft white and round sound quite fertile to me! Hope she recovers soon

This morning she has given me 19 eggs, I have them in a box and they are soft round and white, she is looking very very tired and thin, I don't think the eggs will come to anything as previous owner tells me shes never been near another snake but for her welfare what should I be doing for her now ?

No, your female needs a box to lay any others in.

sorry might not have written that as I meant it - eggs into box with moist tissue in then sit that inside the viv is what I thought of doing with the eggs but because they are very hard and very yellow decided against it.

But tomorrow, as you suggest, I will sort her out a box with some moss in another corner.

I thought of putting them in a box with some moist tissue in the corner of the viv but feel it's a waste of time as they are very hard and very yellow

sorry just noticed you answered my response in the other thread. sounds like you've found the reason for her not eating and your set up is better now. as you say try feeding again in a week, she'll probably be fine

well well well, I think I have just found the reason for her not feeding for a while, I have just removed 2 infertile eggs from her hide, obviously that was what all the activity was all about - nothing to do with looking for food, when I went to take them out she went for me as well so she's not too happy at the moment so I'll leave her alone for a week or so and then try to feed her again

Please take out the heat rock, they can be dangerous for snakes.

3 weeks isn't much to worry about, especially if she is otherwise in good health. Just keep offering once a week until she decides she is hungry.

I would say it's certainly worth raising the viv a bit to see if that helps, I've had a corn that went from placid and calm to crazy and aggressive because we moved him to the floor, he stopped eating too.

I put it in the sticky at the top of the page, had her about 3 weeks now, originally was told she was taking food no problem but she had no heat at all, I have now got a heat rock and heat mat in there which is holding the temp good at between 26 and 29. and given her 2 hides, she shed after being with me for about 10 days and I originally tried offering a jumbo mouse which she struck at but wouldn't take, left that in overnight with no success. then tried a couple of days later with a medium mouse, she again struck at it but wouldn't take (I gave this one to my other corn) then I have tried leavinbg a medium mouse in for 24 hrs without success - thats where we are at.
1 thing I wondered - the viv she is in is on casters and is at ground level, I have never had one like this before but was thinking that this may intimidate her - would It be worth trying at a raised location - but the previous owners always had her in this at this level

ohh and forgot to mention she is a she (or so the previous owner tells me, apparently they had her probed)

How long have you had him and what have you tried so far?

And what sex is he?
