She's home! I'm so excited! I am so glad I was browsing gumtree at half one in the morning last night as I came across an advert for a Pewter female. I couldn't miss this oppourtunity as it's my favourite morph by far, so I drove over an hour today to go and see her.
She is just stunning and there was no way I was leaving without her. Her owners were fantastic, so kind and generous. They gave me probably over £25 worth of hides, bowls, moss and food for her!!!
I haven't taken any photos yet, she's just settling in. She came with a little card stating her D.O.B (July '10) and her parents. Mum was a Pewter, dad was Fire. Not sure about hets but can work out that dad must have been het for Charcoal at least.
So yeah, my first step into the ocean of corn snakes. I think I'll be swimming for a long time as she is just so gorgeous. My son adores her. He's only 2 and a half bless him, but he's already picked up on how to stroke her in the right direction, and when she touched her little tongue to his leg he giggled and said "A nakes.. a kiss.. a baby leg" which was so cute. Couldn't be happier :) |

Artemis was on my list! As was Hestia and Tethys, but they all sound too harsh for this delicate lady.

Yeah I know, but I'm still stuck on a name for her. She came with the name Gemini which I don't really have any ties to (I'm an Aquarius but the other half says that's "too masculine" apparently).
I was gonna go with Banshee as I thought her colour suited it, but she seems too chilled out for a name like that. Has anyone got any suggestions? I like Mythological names a lot. |
