I moved Jory onto fluffs a couple of months ago, feeding him around every 6 days. My routine hasn't changed - defrost mouse, handle snake, put snake in feeding tank, put mouse in warm water, wiggle around infront of him- but he wont take the mouse when it's offered. If i put him back and leave the mouse in a feding dish he'll take it within a few hours. Can anyone shed any light on why this might be happening? Thanks

ho long can you leave a pink in? I've heard some people say to leave it overnight if necessary but that seems a bit excessive to me and won't it go off by then?

Queen Vic: I take the mouse out of the bag to defrost, then run warm water over it.

Okeetee: He's in the tank while I faff about then I use tweezers to feed him the mouse but he wont take it. been happening since I put him on fluffs at the end of april. He's only taken one since then and just had the others from his bowl later.

How long do you leave him in the feeding tank for? Occasionally one of my kings and one corn will leave their dinner alone for an hour or so but eventualy eat, how long has this been happening? As long as he's eating I wouldn't worry too much.

are you putting the mouse directly into the water to defrost it? because it could be losing some of its scent.
Try leaving it in the bag and putting the bag in the hot water.
