I didn't - for whatever reason I didn't even feel it was "appropriate" to ask, we weren't even shown in which was odd as I breed small animals and when people have come a way to collect animals I always ask them in or at the very least offer them a drink!

BUT they were 2 of THE nicest people I've ever met, just very VERY young (probably about 18?)so I didn't expect any more than what I got, a really beautiful baby snake which I'm thrilled to bits with.

I got all her records, feeding and sheds from hatch date and I've come home with a very active well adjusted snakey.

Sooooo chances are I'll probably never know exactly what Fiver is, but it won't stop me being terribly happy with Fiver and thinking she's the best snakey since Henri

You can see that she is not 100 percent corn, if she is a decent breeder then she will know, and shouldn't be selling hatchies as corn when they are hybrids.

I'm going to pick my little one up this morning, who would you know with 100% certainty what the mum is? is there some kind of test you could do on her off spring to confirm what she actually is?

I will ask her breeder but I'm not convinced she'll know.......

That's exactly what I've come round to thinking, I've already fallen in love with her so what does it matter WHAT she is?? I'm going to pick her up on Monday, I can't wait

You'd think that they would put that on their website, cause its definately not a pure corn isnt that one on the right.
Its lovely though!

I have found there are so many people breeding so many different morphs and patterns (aswell as breeds) you don't actually know 100% WHAT you're getting unless you find a fabulous breeder who has 3 or 4 generation pedigrees for their hatchlings.

Since these are few and far between it is highly probable that she IS a hybrid but her colouring is Reverse Okeetee even if she won't breed true so isn't actually a pure bred RO.

Anyway it no longer matters since I think she's fabulous and exactly the colouration I've been looking for.

I do apprecite everyone's help and input

Firstly, neither parent is RO, and it's my understanding that a corn cannot be "het" RO, as RO is a selectively bred trait.

Secondly, that parents does look like a hybrid to me too.

I'd therefore say its hybrid amel, not full corn, and not an RO.
