So lately I've noticed a few questions about record keeping, heres how I do mine
Remember this isn't a must do it this way, just showing you what works for me.
Seperate folder for each snake
Mini info sheet on the front inside cover
How it's divided
First page
Second
Third
Fourth
And fifth
They're fairly blank at the moment as I've only just started being a good girl and keeping them properly.
Thanks for looking

Posted - 03/09/2012 : 11:30:11 I use excel too, i record feeds, weight and blue/sheds. Didn't think about recording poop though, is it really important too? |

Posted - 02/09/2012 : 09:54:59 I use to be the same. Kept a record of when they pooped and everything else I noticed regarding behaviour. Was ok doing this when we only had one snake. Now we have more its just a case of feeding, shedding and weight details being kept. Though each snakes still gets their own individual book of course. Keep up the good work Scaly :)
I have to say the two corn snakes I bought from a pet shop came with feeding/shedding records. The other four corns I got privately and none came with any form of records. The royal came with a feeding record form a private breeder but the hognose was from a private breeder and came with no records at all. |

Posted - 01/09/2012 : 22:52:36 Sure beats my records, scribbled into a £1 book each snake has their own but a lot of the time I sit and update the records as I've not bothered for about a month

Posted - 01/09/2012 : 20:44:44 Ooh, I love this. Fab records. I do all mine on my computer on excel but I only record feeding, shedding and bodyweight, I just check the rest is normal as I go along. Yours are so detailed! Makes me tempted to add another tab to my spreadsheets... |

Posted - 05/07/2012 : 10:44:36 Its nice to see, because ive seen so many people buy snakes for their kids as pets and they then get bored of them and end up giving them away. So its really good to see how dedicated you are :D xx |
