When handling your snakes, do you always wait until they are out of their hides or do u just disturb them and move the hide to get them out?
This is what iv been doing and she seems fine and in no rush to go back when I offer her the viv but just wondering

Thanks

One of mine is always out and makes his own way out of the viv, the other two need to be coaxed out, just depends on your snake, although most prefer to hide away.

Ah good so it's not just me then.. Gotta say tho having only had her 2 week she is so calm when handling, it's been every day for last 5 days now for about 15 mins at a time
She's a bit nervous while I pick her up but she's fine after a few seconds
Feed tomorrow so il leave her while Tuesday but them I'm gonna up the handling sessions

Ara is a natural born hider, I do have to disturb him. The others are normally out and about when I scoop them up - Ginn comes to her glass and demands to come out!

me too - mine is rarely out so I just lift the hide and pop her out

i have to disturb mine if i ever want him out, cause he's always in his hide

if mine aren't out and about i will lift the hide off them, i will tap on the hide first though so they know i am there.
