Looking at getting my first corn hatchling, okay on everything but need to know if a mini stat (thermostat) will suffice or if I'll need to invest in a mat stat?
It's only going to be used to monitor and regulate 1 heat mat.

That thermostat will be fine, I have one of those and also have Habistat matstat 100. I actually prefer my Habistat thermostat but that is just my personal preference  |

Just make sure you use a suitable size rub as my corn escaped from the gap between the lid and sides of the box xx |

Or rub ;-) more secure than both you mentioned as lid is locked on by handles all you need to do is drill or melt some holes in for air an wires

thank you yes found that thread it's BRILLIANT, I've been working with corns for a few months now but the heating is all set up for us we literally just monitor temps
already got the digital termometer thanks, now looking at faunarium or small viv......... |

Ministat an mat stat are same thing just diferrant brands. U will also need a digital thermometer though as that's how you monitor what the thermostat is doing
